AP Online
This online class focuses on improving test skills. Course curriculum includes 8 practice tests, and students will review the materials before and after each test. Class discussions will include vocabulary, sentence structure, reading comprehension, oral response, writing skills as well as related cultural background information.
AP Chinese Online is an innovative and comprehensive program designed to prepare students for the Advanced Placement (AP) Chinese Language and Culture exam. This online platform offers a dynamic learning environment where students can develop their Mandarin language skills, cultural knowledge, and exam strategies conveniently and effectively.
The AP Chinese Online program is structured to align with the content and requirements outlined by College Board for the AP Chinese exam. It covers all aspects of the exam, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, as well as cultural knowledge and understanding. The curriculum is specifically designed to help students attain a high level of proficiency in Mandarin while also developing their ability to analyze and respond to authentic cultural materials.
Class Introduction
This class utilizes online practice AP tests as its main course material. Three class sessions will be dedicated to each practice test. During the first session (week 1), the instructor will meet with the class online to discuss vocabulary, sentence structure, reading, voice recording, and writing skills, and provide related cultural background information. During the second session (week 2), students will complete the practice AP test online. The instructor will grade the tests and discuss it with the class during the third session (week 3).
One of the key features of AP Chinese Online is its emphasis on exam preparation. The program offers targeted strategies and practice exercises that specifically address the requirements of the AP Chinese exam. Students are guided through mock exams, sample questions, and timed practice sessions, enabling them to familiarize themselves with the exam format and build confidence in their test-taking abilities.
